- one major redundancy resolved in section 4.2, plus end of chapter 7 minor editing

- this update corrects still more minor literals, and also features a few paragraph rewrites


*Version 1.2* (subsequent to official submission of thesis to TU Berlin)

- this update (1) corrects various literals (spelling and grammar mistakes, sentence rewrites for clarity, etc.); (2) reduces redundancy at the paragraph level and improves section transititions in a few places; (3) features a much improved acronyms management, and has a larger index of intersting asides; (4) resolves some minor content todos in a few endnotes; (5) features slight improvements of the illustrations used as Figures throughout the thesis
